How to choose heat sealing film and what you need to pay attention to when you are using heat sealing film?
What do you need to pay attention to when you are using heat sealing film before you apply it?
1.Before applying the protective film, make sure the surface of the object is clean. If there are oil stains, organic solvents, low molecular weight volatile substances, or chemical substances on the surface of the object, it will easily damage the adhesion of BOPP thermal sealing film glue and cause difficult-to-tear film or residual adhesive.
2.Some BOPP thermal sealing films do not have UV resistance, so they cannot be used under long-term direct sunlight. Objects placed outdoors for a long time cannot be protected with this type of protective film.
3.The protective film is not resistant to high temperatures, so it cannot be attached to objects with temperatures higher than 150℃.
4.Plastic objects contain various plasticizers, toughening agents, and mold release agents, so a certain amount of testing should be carried out before use to confirm that no abnormal reactions occur before they can be used in large quantities.
5.Uneven or rough surface, such as matte or wire-drawn surface, will affect the adhesion of the OPP thermal sealing film. Therefore, suitable protective films should be selected according to different materials.
6.When using BOPP thermal sealing film, pay attention to the stretchability and ductility of the protective film. Some protective films have less stretchability and improper use will shorten the service life of the protective film.
7.For aluminum profile type items, low-viscosity products should be used after polishing treatment. For surfaces treated with oxidation, they must be ensured to be leak-free before applying the protective film to avoid residue.
